About Ryan

I'm Ryan Chappell, the coach behind Accent Forge.

I started this work because I kept seeing the same thing happen to talented, capable people. They knew their field inside and out, but the moment they opened their mouth in a meeting or a call, their accent became the only thing anyone noticed. That is not a fair trade, and it is not something a generic app can fix, because every accent is different and every person needs to know exactly where to focus first.

That is why I built Accent Forge the way I did. Every student starts with The Baseline, a real assessment from a real coach, not a score from an algorithm. From there, the program is built to take you all the way from individual sounds to full presentation and communication skills, because sounding clear is only part of being understood.
